Fall Lookbook

One of the biggest tragedies, or for some… biggest victories, of the fall season is storing all of our beloved strappy crop tops and high-waisted shorts for sweaters and jeans. FRET NOT my fellow fashionistas! There is a way to show off what’s left of your summer tan while swapping out your closet! Check out my take on a few transitional looks that can help bridge the gap between the seasons this year! (Outfit details listed at the end of the post).

Summer Dresses:

Highlighting any earthier/darker tones in a dress will help with the transition of the seasons. Even though I’m wearing a silky slip dress appropriate for the hotter months, I chose to pair it with darker accessories to ground the look. Unexpected colors in fairly practical pieces are right up my alley which is why I chose to wear an off-white wrap necklace and vintage green scrunchie.

Crop Tops:

Crop top + Crop mom jeans… it’s a match made in heaven! The lighter wash denim and white lace details on the top definitely scream summertime, but I don’t necessarily think winter clothes need to ALWAYS be dark. Don’t get me wrong, more than half of my wardrobe is black but little details like this pom-pom trim will help you stand out when everyone’s in their classic fall orange and burgundy.

Those “don’t actually block out the sun” colored glasses:

If I’ve seen one summer trend that’s been the most difficult to style and pull off, it’s been the colored glasses trend. I chose to style my pink sunnies because I like the idea of “looking at the world through rose-colored glasses“. Pairing them with some fun bell bottom jeans and a black cut-out shirt help is an easy way make it look like you’re trying when you’re really just wearing a super comfy outfit. And hey… if you decide to take them off you’re still left with a stellar outfit that makes use of all of those cut-out t-shirts you were planning on wearing to those summer concerts!

Try mixing up these looks whenever you want in this pre-fall season! Remember, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. If YOU feel confident in what you’re wearing, then show off that confidence to the world. Shoutout to Dylan DePaul for an amazing photoshoot! Go check out bestaucasinosonline.com/ca/ his IG here!
