Shopping on Rodeo Drive

Here’s another look from my trip in California. No trip to SoCal is complete without stopping by the infamous Rodeo Drive. In the heart of downtown Los Angeles I found myself walking past the beautiful, and VERY expensive, window displays from the likes of Chanel, Gucci, Miu Miu, Burberry, All Saints… etc. Honestly I felt so inspired just looking at the work of these great brands who started with a simple designer and a dream. As I was strolling down one of the sidewalks in the area I stumbled upon a store I was not familiar with, Zadig & Voltaire. I met a lovely salesperson there named Lei (hey girl!) who told me about this “Parisian street-wear style” store and even helped me make my first few purchases! I felt that if I was to walk down Rodeo I needed to at least dress the part. While this amazing lace dress is something I usually wear for the evening, I dressed it down with my typical knee socks and platform sneakers. Unfortunately, it was still quite cold in LA and I had to throw on this thick black coat which hid the bell sleeves and open back. I’ve been really into chunky metal hardware lately which is why I chose to wear these gunmetal necklaces. Have a fabulous week everyone!
