This felt-tip eyeliner is a great alternative to the more expensive Kat Von D Tattoo eyeliner ($9.00 to $19.00 difference)! It goes on super black and doesn’t flake off like most other drugstore eyeliners on the market.
Mascaras: Maybelline “The falsies Push up Drama” and Lancome “Hypnose Drama”
I decided to include a mascara on both ends of the spectrum, drugstore and high-end. If you don’t want to drop $28.00 on the Lancome mascara, the Maybelline one is a great alternative. The short plastic wand of the Maybelline mascara, shown on the left, still gives the desired full but not clumpy effect that the curved Lancome wand does…it’s just a heck of a lot cheaper!
Lipstick: MAC Matte lipstick in “Velvet Teddy”
Matte, neutral lipsticks are a must for any season. Lately, I’ve been obsessed with this beige-toned beauty. It looks good on pretty much any skin tone and is a great starter for anyone who wants to experiment with brown-toned lipsticks! A great drugstore dupe is Wet N Wild “Bare it All”.
Eyeshadow Palette: Urban Decay Smoky
This has been my go-to palette for any kind of smoky eye; packed full of brown and gray-toned neutrals. Despite it’s many darker colors, the shadows themselves are pigmented enough to create a lighter daytime look that can transition to any darker evening look. (It also comes with a great double-ended brush)!
Face Mask/Cleanser: Tony Moly Egg Pore Blackhead Steam Balm
Okay… this product is amazing. It’s a self-heating balm targeted for removing/reducing blackheads. It leaves my skin as smooth as a baby’s butt and the magical Korean beauty experts have once again, given us a gift that is this balm. Without any water required this balm, infused with charcoal and egg yolk, opens up your pores to cleanse all that dirt out of your pores while intensely hydrating your skin.
Lip Scrub (not pictured individually): Lush Mint Julips
If you’re worried about your lips being flaky and dry, this product will change your life. Just use a little warm water and let the sugar gently exfoliate your lips to perfect smoothness.
