In Texas the closest we actually get to “real” winter is about 3 weeks of thirty degree weather. I decided to take advantage of the cooler temperatures and break out my favorite white fur vest. This piece has emerged as a staple in every fashionista’s closet this season… and for good reason! It immediately transforms an otherwise boring outfit into a more chic, put-together look. I decided to balance out the fullness of this vest with a two-toned hat. Because the vest is a little more boxy in shape it can overwhelm my smaller 5′ 2″ frame. By adding a larger hat on top, the wide brim balances out the look more. Speaking of more wardrobe staples, some of my favorite things to style are basics. This grey quarter-length thin sweater acts as a nice blank canvas for the geometric pendant I’m wearing. Have a happy week and make the best of whatever weather you’re enduring!
