“If London is a watercolor, New York is an oil painting”
– Peter Shaffer
This summer has been quite a whirlwind. I was lucky enough to be able to visit one of the fashion capitals of the world, London. And what is a trip to this great city without a day of shopping Harrods on Oxford? This enormous department store houses roughly 300 designers to choose from! I decided to try to blend in with the chic, fashion-forward London crowd by mixing the designers in my outfit…pairing classic pieces with on-trend prints. As many of you know palm leaf print is huge for this summer. With it still being a bit chilly in the city, I layered a summer-y romper underneath a black leather jacket. Booties are some of the most comfortable walking shoes if you can find the right pair. My Steve Madden ones have never let me down when it comes to comfort. This look was complete with my new Elizabeth and James bucket bag, again super trendy this season. Hope the summer break is treating everyone well… happy travels!
